Graffiti Unrestricted Art
Is This Graffiti Or Art?
I love graffiti and think of it as an open creative expression from the artist as they share their view of the world that they live in.
I do believe that graffiti with a goal is art. I don't believe tagging your name or gang name everywhere is art.
I also think the artist is responsible for getting permission from the owner of the place they hope to paint. The artist is also responsible for their expression of art and should use wisdom in what and where they paint. I don't think it is good to paint something that totally offends the majority when in the public eye.

This mural was painted by The Asheville Mural Project, a group of artists brought together through the nonprofit Arts 2 People.
There is parking right here so convenient to the great shops and restaurants on Lexington Ave. You have missed out if you have never been here. Just saying.

My Hippie Graffiti Bedroom
This is my bedroom painted by a couple of talented friends, Julian Burke and Alan Zicarelli, in 1970. I was in the 10th grade at the time. Having experienced the 60's and 70's It is no wonder that I am a little mixed up.
